About Zumba® Gold

This Zumba® Fitness Class is designed for the active older adult, those with restrictions and or those who are only able to exercise in chairs or a seated position. We safely modify the choreography as well as the overall Intensity so its easily accessible for these populations without losing the flavor and fun of an actual Zumba® Class. This class incorporates the Cardio Respiratory and Strength Endurance Components of General Fitness.

  • Strength Endurance exercises protects bone health, boosts the metabolism and energy levels as well as assists in joint mobility.
  • Flexibility exercises maintains range of motion in joints. Improves performance in physical activity as well as posture. It also helps prevent back pain, releases stress as well as reduce the risk of injury.
